■ PROPERTIES INTRODUCTION

White orthorhombic crystal, easily deliquescent in the air, soluble in water very easily. Its solution is strong acid and poisonous, which can erode glass.

■ APPLICATION

It is used as chemical reagent, glass etchant, antiseptic, disinfector, analytical reagent, the solvent in beryllia producing beryllium metal and the treatment of the surface of silicon steel plate.
